Viele deutsche Familiengeschichten, sind bis heute nicht vollständig erzählt worden. je lückenhafter sie überliefert sind, desto massiver drehen sich die Gedanken der Nachkommenden um die blinden Flecken in der Familienbiographie.

“Have you seen Friederike?”(Original Title) Was originally developed as a play. In April 2020 the documentary play was to be premiered at the Ballhaus Ost Berlin. The cmd+c, under the direction of the queer couple Marina Prados and Paula Knüpling, had already tested and developed the play to a large extent and unfortunately had to cancel the premiere at the last moment due to the pandemic.
The result of the adaptation is a light, fresh and somewhat different film, which is not based on classical film structures, but seeks its very own form.

The young actress Ela (24) lands her first leading role as “Lulu” in the new theater production of the important director Franz Kramer (42). Franz, in a predominantly male team, sells the play as feminist. But soon Ela and her female perspective on the role of Lulu are lost amid the men. “Just for fun,” Kramer yells, silencing Ela, just like her role. The other actors do not stand up for Ela – they only give voice to their sexist characters on stage and thus become accomplices to Franz’s behavior. The situation comes to a head when Franz goes one step further and sexually harasses Ela. Ela struggles to reconstruct Lulu as a self-confident character, but this only seems possible if she takes the same steps of self-empowerment in her real life.

The Sound Is The Scenery documentary follows Rona Geffen, a multi disciplinary artist, musician and sound healer while finalizing her audio visual piece The Sound Is The Scenery on 4DSOUND at the Spatial Sound Institute in Budapest.
Auf dem Columbiadamm in Berlin herrscht ein ständiges Kommen und Gehen. Am Straßenrand werfen hier Fernfahrer ihre Anker, bevor sie mit dem nächsten Auftrag wieder davongespült werden. Um ihre Lastwagen herum versuchen sie der Einsamkeit der Straße zu entkommen - stets bereit zur Abfahrt.

The short film explores the involvement of men and women throughout the history of the University in the context of internationality. Speeches, lectures and sounds from the past resonate like memories of a structure. The film travels through the empty corridors and halls of the Freie Universität as if following the blood stream in a human body. The final destination of the trip is the “brain” of the University: the library.
In this autobiographical short ( very short ) film I, Daniela, try to experience firsthand what it means to open up before a camera to capture my spontaneous weakness for perpetuity. By sharing this particular moment I expose myself to overcome my fear of failure and unshield myself from you.
In this introspective exercise I, Paul, reinterpret leftovers from our commercial work to give it a second life.

Ein Abend mit Alex von Humboldt – super Wissenschaftler, Namensgeber des Humboldt-Forums, zweiter Entdecker Amerikas! Selbst sowohl in der Rolle der Entdeckten als auch der Entdecker*innen brechen drei Latinx Performer*innen den humboldtschen Blick. In Skulpturen, Pflanzen, Steinen und ihren eigenen Biografien suchen sie nach dekolonialen Gegengeschichten: Aus zwei Produkten – Kartoffeln und Gips – kreieren sie ein schillerndes Gespinst aus unvermuteten Bildern und dichten Erzählungen.
Kaffee mit Zucker? ist ein Inszenierungsprojekt zwischen Materialperformance, biografischem- und zeitgenössischem Dokumentartheater.

With the biologist from Naturkunde Museum, Oscar Neumann, and Die Kanuclub zur Erforschung der Stadt, we followed a group of children exploring the different species in the Spree River.
The short documentary, filmed mostly from a kanoo, was premiered at Naturkunde Museum in 2015. This beautiful project was conceived and produced by Birgit Auf der Lauer and Caspar Pauli.
